G&g is one of the most reliable guns out there. To the guy underneath this, the orange tip has that marking as a replica of another gun so that’s just standard, other wise this is a reliable gun

G&G Combat Machine R16 Carbine Airsoft Electric Gun

This gun is great! It is about 95% metal and is very well made. I have had it for about 5 months and I have only had to charge it once and i use it all the time. It is very high powered and can easily go through a big can from 30 feet. And it is a very good price considering how good it it is. I have never had any trouble with it at all. The magazine can hold a ton of bb’s and is made of pure metal. it shoots very accurately from up to 60 feet. Over all its a great buy for anyone and i would give it 5 stars every time. Best Airsoft gun…. PERIOD!!!

First, we are an airsoft family. We love the sport and I even play it…and I’m the mom! Second, we have a LOT of airsoft rifles…from some cheap pump-action rifles from a discount store to AK’s… however, M4s seem to be ones that we go to over and over again for dependable, long-term play.
What I love about M4s is that they are so customizable and easy to fix and/or mod. I’d like to reiterate about the ‘chip’ on the orange tip; that is an M4 trademark. I too thought it was a ‘defect’ but have learned that every rifle has it’s own ‘mark’, and the ‘chip’ is that of the M4.
Also, a VERY common problem is the trigger connectors in ALL airsoft rifles and guns can come loose and cause them to stop firing. I’ve had to fix my son’s Thompson a couple times from this…yes, me, girly mom. I had a guy at an airsoft field show me how it is done on his M4 and I now know how to do it on all our rifles. It is a VERY common problem, easily fixed, and just one of those things. Which is why when out airsofting one always takes with them a multi-tool.
I highly recommend this rifle to anyone, whether a veteran or a beginner. They are easy to handle and just operate without hassle continuously. For you moms, girlfriends, ladies…this is a great gun to start with. Handles easy, the butt is retractable so you can adjust it to fit your body, and they are easy to work on. Don’t be intimidated.
