Not for Sapi plates really

I got this because of it’s low price and good reviews. I would say that for the money this is a good little molli tactical vest and I’m sure that it would hold soft armor very well so long as you had the right panels. With that said I have medium sized level 3 standalone rifle plates and don’t use the soft armor option. The vest does not hold medium sized plates in place the way that you would want something too if you are going to stake you life on it. I did email the manufacturer to make sure that I was not doing something wrong but they confirmed that it would have some play in the set up. I returned the item and went with Condor Tactical plate carrier… I will see how that goes and post a comment below…

With that being said I will say that the build quality was pretty good, and the customer support was prompt so if you are looking for a soft armor carrier or a paint ball/air soft rig I would say this is a good option for the money.

Absolutely hands down a serious contender for the apex of combat gear! Northstar hit this one outta the park! You can buy gear for thousands of dollars and not get any of the specs this vest has. northstar has completely won me over. after 20 years of tactical operat5ions instructing I’ve seen kits com and go but this one is here to stay. This plate carrier has all you will ever need and nothing that you don’t. Every little thing tha annoys an opertor has been fixed with this gear and then some northstars R&D is second to none the material is awesome and constructed very very well beefy drag handles and stitching doubled and trippled where it counts.

If you’re looking for a great plate carrier that will protect you when it counts? Then this is your choice! This gear is mindblowinly detailed and tough get it today. It does whats expected of it and it won’t break the bank.

Alright,this is my first plate carrier,i have two combat vests and was looking for something that would carry an even load (front & back). Well this is it.Price was what i was looking for(cost with shipping is what some of the online airsoft stores were selling it for),all the mollie stips lined up good cept one and thats my fualt for setting the pouch up there.comes with a built in hydration carrier pocket on the inside back panel.I’m 5’7 3/4″ -5’8″ and weigh 171 lbs.some slight adjustments and was ready to go,fits great.Will being usingon the may 14,2011 will update review than.Oh and just from trying it out don’t wear anything heavy under it you will get hot quick.
